| Description |
Carlow University, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, founded by and operating in the traditions of the Sisters of Mercy, is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor in our Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program. Carlow prides itself on its reputation for quality teaching and supportive faculty-student relationships.
Responsibilities
-Teach and advise within the Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) program
-Development and evaluation of the DNP curriculum
-Establishment of clinical sites for student preceptor experience
-Maintaining clinical practice and scholarship agenda
-Continuing scholarship, academic advising, and university service
-Teaching assignments in other nursing graduate and undergraduate programs
Requirements/Qualifications
-An earned doctorate in nursing (DNP or Ph.D.)
-National certification as an advanced practice nurse is preferred
-Academic experience at the graduate level preferred
